TecHome Builder Conference and Expo, May 18-20 in Phoenix, will educate builders on current and emerging home technology products and services.
Builders have no shortage of audio, networking and home theater products competing for their attention and their purchasing power. However, they have a lot less good old fashioned, basic information on what to do with all those products, how to integrate them, and most importantly, how to market them to customers. n All of those needs-along with IT software for builders-are at the center of the upcoming TecHome Builder Conference & Expo (TBX), which will launch this May in Phoenix. This is the first trade show being produced by TecHome Builder, and it comes in response to the growing need of builders to learn about information technology products and services in the back office, and home technology products front and center in the home. In addition to offering exhibits from leading technology companies, the event will feature dozens of educational sessions to help the builder understand what is happening in the home tech space, how to wire their homes for new products and services, and where they can expect the market to head in the next couple of years.
For evidence of the growing interest in home tech products and services, one needed only to visit the tecHOMExpo at the International Builders' Show in Orlando. As a designated portion of the overall show floor, the tecHOMExpo saw a steady stream of attendees checking out the tech providers exhibiting there.
TBX promises to feature the most comprehensive education program on technology for builders in the nation. The event is organized around three tracks with dozens of educational sessions in the works.
