In this market climate, integrators, builders and manufacturers need to take advantage of every opportunity to showcase their installations or products. Now in their eighth year, the Innovative Housing Technology Awards (IHTAs) does just that by recognizing significant advances and best practices by product manufacturers, integrators and builders in technology development for, and implementation by, the housing industry. The deadline is April 18, 2008.
The most prestigious housing technology awards in the home building industry, the IHTAs are presented by TecHome Builder magazine. The awards are intended to stimulate the development of innovative new products, materials, and systems for residential construction that can improve the livability of our homes and make the process of building and improving homes more efficient and cost effective.
Industry Recognition & Exposure
The IHTAs offer valuable industry recognition to all entrants and winners. Each entry will be:
- Promoted in the May/June issue of TecHome Builder, which is read by 20,000+ tech-savvy homebuilders
- Recognized in a press release regarding the awards
- Promoted on www.techomebuilder.com, www.electronichouse.com and www.cepro.com
- Provided with an entrant ribbon for use at tradeshows or in your offices
- Invited to a reception announcing the winners in San Francisco during PCBC
Winners will receive additional exclusive exposure, including:

Awards Reception
Winners will be announced in San Francisco at PCBC 2008. All entrants are invited. Reception details will be forthcoming.
Supplier & Integrator Eligibility Requirements
- Product must have been introduced to the market (shipping) between January 1, 2007 and June 25, 2008
- Entries must be submitted on or before April 18, 2008
- The same product cannot be entered in more than one category
- A separate entry form must be completed for each entry. All entry forms must have all questions completed and submitted in order to be evaluated
- All entrants must be available for monitored telephone interviews with judges, if requested
Builder Eligibility Requirements
- Projects must have been completed between January 1, 2007 and June 25, 2008
- Entries must be submitted on or before April 18, 2008
- A separate entry form must be completed for each entry. All entry forms must be completed in their entirety in order for the entry to be evaluated
- All entrants must be available for monitored telephone interviews with the judges, if requested
